Making our shelter to be a clean and safe place for residential Purpose. - Skill Development: We offer vocational training programs to help women develop skills like Tailoring and Animal Husbandry helping in to gain independence.
Tailoring and Rehab Work-shop : The Back-bone of our Workshop are those mentally Challenegd women
who have got trained in Marking the Fabrics, Cutting and stithing those when we get orders.
Every order given to us is a Gesture of occuaptional Therapy.
The workshop was started on 2012 and has helped many women to keep their minds occupied in work.
Giving us Dignity to not only be Depenedent on Donations but also be sustainable.
- Education and Awareness: We raise awareness about mental health issues and challenge the stigma surrounding mental illness.
- Advocacy: We advocate for the rights and well-being of women with mental challenges, working to create a more inclusive society.
- Aasai Store – A self-sustaining project for selling the used and
usable household, electrical, electronic, furniture, dresses and other items donated by the donors and well-wishers. - Kudumbam – This Initiative focuses on our in-mates who have recovered and are gain their
social independence, we provide them employment opportunities with-in our Shelter with other benefits.
